MARION RAVN is 15. MARIT LARSEN is 16. But you may soon know the Norwegian duo as M2M -- boasting the first single from the highly anticipated soundtrack to the movie, 'Pokemon!' ET Online caught up with Marion, the dark-haired half of the multi-talented duo, to find out her reactions to American teens!

Entertainment Tonight Online: You write your own songs, play your own instruments -- how did you two hook up to form a group?
Marion Ravn: Well, we met when we were five. You know, at the playground. We started to play together and discovered that we both liked music a lot. I remember that Marit was playing violin at the time and I was screaming into my hair brush or other objects. (laughs) We started a group called HUBBA BUBBA at the age of eight -- playin' at our school and a kindergarten tour (laughs).
Marion: I started to play piano around the age of eight and from there we went to auditions and got the parts. It was professional. We did shows on Norway's "Broadway." We were in plays like "The Sound of Music," "Annie," "The Wizard of Oz," and so on.
Marion: A guy that saw us playing at our school asked if we wanted to do a demo of a kid song. I was eleven. The people loved what they heard and liked the idea, so we made a Norwegian children songs album. It did very well here in Norway, and we got nominated for "Best Children's Album of the Year."
Marion: At the age of 13 and 14, we were not into "kid songs" anymore and we were listening to a lot of pop and rock. We started to write our own songs...instead of making another kid's album.
Marion: Marit started to play guitar. Some people ended up hearing one of our songs and brought it to Atlantic records. We got a record deal, came up with the name M2M, and here we are!
Marion: We finished our album called "Shades of Purple," with songs with our name written all over. I'm proud and happy about the whole thing.
ETO: How did you react when you found out your song would be featured on the new 'Pokemon' soundtrack?
Marion: First I didn't know what a Pokemon was! We don't have that in Norway yet. People told me about it and I also searched around on the Internet, saw the TV show and everything. It's everywhere! AAieee! I was really proud that the film company liked our song and wanted it to be the first single on the soundtrack.
Marion: I saw the other artists on the soundtrack and got even prouder. Pokemon is cool. I'm glad that we're a part of this big thing. and even more people will now hear our music -- that's my goal!
ETO: Any favorite Pokemon character?
Marion: The one with the M2M power. M2Mtuuchi is his name! (laughs) Only kidding!
ETO: What did you think of America when you first came?
Marion: Wooow...Big.
ETO: When you think USA, what are the first things that come to mind?
Marion: Where's my wallet!! ..I need to shop here!!! (laughs)
ETO: Have you see any big differences between American teens and teens in Norway?
Marion: Not really. We're all the same. I think your teen years are the best time in your life!
ETO: How do you plan on celebrating the big Millennium?
Marion: I'll be at home with all my friends and family. Party all night long, baby! I don't wanna be in New York -- 'cause if the aliens are going to blow up the world, they'll start with New York and not little Norway, right? (laughs) So I'm safe at home. Only kidding! I've seen the movie 'Independence Day' too many times!
